Hermes Huang is a Design Thinking facilitator and social entrepreneur based in Bangkok, Thailand. He has facilitated and taught programs in Design Thinking at the professional and higher education levels to groups from around the world. He is also a field researcher employing a design approach using mixed qualitative methods, and has conducted studies in rural and urban settings across Asia and the Pacific.
His approach to team building and organizational strategy using Design Thinking employs as much hands-on activity as possible with appropriate and low-cost technologies and materials. When possible, he likes to run immersive off-site programs that blend participants together with people who hold different life experiences and perspectives in order to challenge assumptions about the problems, opportunities, and solutions at hand.
